Our Projects
The Youth Government
The planning and initial stages of simulating the Youth Government based on the system of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan began in October 2016 and officially took place in March 2017 in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, with the participation of 136 active youth from across the country. This Youth Government consisted of an elected president, 25 ministers, 50 deputy ministers, and included representatives from several key government institutions. This program fostered widespread and meaningful youth participation in the political process, receiving a warm reception from domestic and international activists. Those who participated in this simulation of the Youth Government subsequently found themselves contributing to the country's political, social, cultural, and economic landscape, integrating into the political and social fabric of the polity.
Peace and Reconciliation
One of the beneficial and productive programs of the Afghanistan New Thinker Youth Civil Organization was the Peace and Reconciliation program, which ran from 2016 to 2021, hosting dozens of events in Afghanistan's capital and provinces with the participation of hundreds of youths, girls, and intellectuals. These programs encompassed strategies for achieving sustainable peace, coexistence, avoiding war and hatred, and establishing enduring peace. Participants in these programs delivered speeches on peace, recited poetry, and expressed their support for Afghanistan's peace and reconciliation through different performances. These programs received extensive coverage in domestic and international media, attracting widespread attention from the public.

NTYCO International Programs
In addition to organizing hundreds of programs within Afghanistan, the New Thinker Youth Civil Organization also held several social, civic, educational, and cultural programs in countries such as Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Russia, India, and Nepal, with the participation of youth from Afghanistan and other countries. In these programs, young people discussed various topics, including sustainable development goals, peace, education, culture, environment, climate change, and advocacy for Afghan women and girls, and exchanged ideas with youth from Afghanistan and other countries, engaging in debates and discussions. The international programs of the NTYCO contributed to the expansion of relationships between Afghan youth and other countries, broadening the perspectives of young people on global issues and fostering constructive interaction among youth.
