The workshop was warmly welcomed and received significant attention from participants.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"kmb-live-tag-label kmb-rich-text-paragraph\" dir=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">This online workshop was organized on December 30, 2025, by the Afghanistan New Thinker Youth Civil Organization in collaboration with the International Federation of Human Rights Defenders in Exile. The main objectives of the workshop were to raise awareness about volunteering, facilitate experience-sharing among activists, and highlight the vital role of voluntary work in civil society and human rights activities.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"kmb-live-tag-label kmb-rich-text-paragraph\" dir=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">During the workshop, Afghan participants from various countries, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Europe, and the United States, took part in the discussions. Key topics included the concept of volunteering, its direct link to civil society and human rights advocacy, practical experiences of volunteer work, and the role of volunteers in contexts of crisis and restricted civic space.
