The New Thinker Youth Civil Organization (NTYCO) Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Hewad Rahyab, participated in the international conference “Peace and Human Rights – Better Together” held at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

This event brought together human rights defenders, civil society leaders, and international representatives from across the world. As an invited speaker, Mr. Rahyab delivered a speech on the human rights situation in Afghanistan, highlighting critical issues such as restrictions on girls’ education, barriers to women’s participation in social, political and economic life, the urgent need for international solidarity, pathways toward peace, justice, and human dignity.

His remarks received widespread support from conference participants, earning praise for echoing the voices of Afghan women, youth, and vulnerable communities on a global platform.
