The Afghanistan New Thinker Youth Civil Organisation (NTYCO) has been officially granted special accreditation by the United Nations to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development.

The Afghanistan New Thinker Youth Civil Organisation (NTYCO) has been officially granted special accreditation by the United Nations to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development. This follows NTYCO’s earlier accreditation to the High-Level Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly to Commemorate the Thirtieth Anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth, and marks another milestone in its international advocacy journey.
According to the official UN Secretariat’s announcement, NTYCO may now register up to 15 representatives for the Summit. These delegates will represent Afghan youth in global discussions on social development, justice, poverty alleviation, social cohesion, and the advancement of human dignity.
The Summit will take place from 4 to 6 November 2025 at the Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha, and will convene civil society organizations, international institutions, and UN Member State representatives. This Summit, held 30 years after the landmark 1995 Copenhagen summit, offers a renewed global platform to examine the challenges and opportunities of human and social development.
This accreditation attests to NTYCO’s continued resilience, credibility, and impact at both national and international levels, and opens exciting new avenues for amplifying the voice of Afghan youth on the world stage.
